We took a fall trip to Yellowstone again this year. My sister Fran joined me for the first week and Lori was able to join me for the second week. The trip had variable, but generally warm weather. The elk were largely absent, but we did see a few distant bulls with harems. Other wildlife was pretty abundant, but as is often the case in Yellowstone, they were pretty distant.
Later that morning, we drove to Fountain Flats Drive, where we found the Trumpeter Swan in the Firehole River. The light was wonderful and the swann was very cooperative. I was able to take many pictures of it in a vareity of poses.
