Lori and I took a long spring trip of 5 weeks to Yellowstone National Park. It was our first trip with our new-to-us trailer.. Getting everything ready for the trip was exciting,but we finally departed for Yellowstone on April 30 and arrived in Yellowstone May 1. We stayed at Madison campground.



As we were driving up the Hayden Valley in beautiful evening light, we found a great blue heron at Trout Creek. We stopped and I shot a few pictures, including some of the heron catching and eatinga fish.
