Lori and I took our annual fall trip to Yellowstone. We camped out for a week of wet, snowy, cold weather. The wildlife was pretty sparse, but what we saw was magnificent.

We both enjoyed the trip, though both of us occasionally wished for warmer weather!

Late on Wednesday, Lori and I did the hike to Trout lake looking for otters that had been reported there earlier. We did not see any and decided to head up to Buck lake from there. The weather was cold and snowy. The predicted winter storm was ariving the in Lamar Valley with winds, cold, and snow. Even though we never saw an otters, we had a great time. I took a few quick portraits of Lori with the 600mm lens (with the 1.7 extender attached, as I was set up to shoot the elusive otters).
