First spring trip to Yellowstone. I had a great time and saw wonderful sights. The wildlife viewing and photographing was superb. The weather was cold and snowy for most of the trip. I had an absolutely wonderful time.

As I was driving from Mamoth to the Madison campground, I saw a wolf on the road at Roaring Mountain. It trotted down the middle of the road for about a mile. That created quite the traffic jam.

I pulled ahead, set up the 600mm lens, and waited for it. The wolf was too close and I did not get any shots!. I switched to the 24-70 zoom and was able to get a few shots at 70mm. What a sight!
