I took a late Sundary afternoon drive to Rocky Mountain National Park and spent a couple of hours in the park looking for wildlife. I saw moose cow and calf, a black tail doe and 2 fawns, along with this wonderful bull elk starting to shed its velvet.



It seemed early in the season for him to be shedding the velvet, but it was a magnificent site.
