Lori and I took our annual fall trip to Yellowstone. Photo opportunities were pretty limited during the first two weeks due to distractions of visiting with frends, watching geysers, and breaking in the new motorhome.

After being snowed into the campground for a day by a significant winter storm, Fran and I ventured out to the Old Faithful area where we found most things closed. The boardwalks were iced over, so we could not do a tour of the geysers. On our way back to the campground, we found the trumpeter swan that is often visible from the Grand Loop Road along the Firehole River. We stopped and took quite a few shots of it.
