Lori and I took a long spring trip of 5 weeks to Yellowstone National Park. It was our first trip with our new-to-us trailer.. Getting everything ready for the trip was exciting, but we finally departed for Yellowstone on April 30 and arrived in Yellowstone May 1. We stayed at Madison campground.

I had found a carcas at Otter Creek the previous day,but only ravens were on it. I did meet three other yellowstone.net posters there who had said wolves were at the carcas earlier.

I returned to the carcas in the morning and found two wolves on it. One was the alpha male of the canyon pack (with a collar).
