Lori and took our annual spring trip to Yellowstone. We were joined by Jean and Honani Polequaptewa, who we had not spent time with in over 10 years. We had a very pleasant trip, despite the cold, rainy, and snowy weather. There was abundant wildlife and the thermal features were wonderful to view with Jean and Honani.



As Lori and I were driving around Mary Bay on Lake Yellowstone, we saw a grizzly bear running very quickly toward the road. It stopped in a field, so we a pulled over to get a few shots.



This was probably a 6 year old sow, and likely one of Blaze's descendants.
