Lori and I took our annual spring trip to Yellowstone. We had wonderful weather and truly enjoyed the trip. We saw a lot of wildlife, but most of it was at distances too far for meaningful photograph

The wildlife variety and behavior was great to watch.

We drove out to the Lamar Valley and saw wonderful sights. There was a wolf kill with a grizzly on it. Another grizzly was wandering around it about 100 to 200 feet away from the carcass. It was all at spotting scope distance, so no pictures.

On the way back to old faithful, we came across a herd of buffalo cows and calves. The lighting was great, so I stopped and took a few shots.

It was a wonderful day!
