Lori, Ginger, and I took a week-long summer trip to Yellowstone. Fran joined us for the last four days. We had a wonderful time and saw amazing signts. The wildlife was surprisingly active, with sightings of bears, wolf, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, eagles, osprey, etc.
The next day, we drove to the Lamar Valley by way of Dunraven Pass. We stopped at the Calcite Cliffs Overlook, where we saw some bighorn sheep on the far side of the Yellowstone River. The terrain was impressively steep!
