Lori and I took a 4-week, fall trip to Yellowstone. We were concerned about the smoke from the fires and the fact that the Maple fire might interfere with our plans to camp at the Madison campground. It rained and snowed the first three days of the trip, which really reduced the threat from the fires.
We saw Raspberry and Snow at the 9 Mile trailhead. The lighting was difficult and they were among down timber from a fire. The shooting was challenging but very enjoyable. It was great to see them.
