Lori and I took our annual fall trip to Yellowstone. We camped out for a week of wet, snowy, cold weather. The wildlife was pretty sparse, but what we saw was magnificent.



We both enjoyed the trip, though both of us occasionally wished for warmer weather!



Lori and I were enjoying views at Steamboat Point and about ready to head over to Sedge Bay. A very nice gentleman approached and let us know of a grizzly bear just off the road about a quarter mile to the east. We quickly made our way there and found this wonderful bear. It could be Raspberry, but I am not certain. The lighting was very flat and there was a moderate sized crowd. The bear was about 30 feet off the road, but in a position that keeping a reasonable distance caused a lot of grass and terrain obscuration. It was a wonderful bear sighting.
