Lori and I went to Yellowstone for our annual spring trip.

Lori and I spent the afternoon and evening driving around the lower loop of the Grand Loop road. We saw elk, sandhill cranes, trumpeter swan, numerous buffalo, and Snow, the grizzly bear.

When we arrived at Fishing Bridge, we headed east. Between Steamboat Point and Sedge Bay, we came upon cars along the side of the road with folks patiently waiting for something to happen. We assumed they were waiting for Snow (Raspberry's offspring) to make an appearance.

We continued on to Sedge Bay, where we had a clear view of the slope the folks were watching. After a bit, Snow woke up and wandered into an opening. We headed to where the other cars were parked and watched Snow from there for quite some time. What an amazing bear!
