Lori and I took a 4-week, fall trip to Yellowstone. We were concerned about the smoke from the fires and the fact that the Maple fire might interfere with our plans to camp at the Madison campground. It rained and snowed the first three days of the trip, which really reduced the threat from the fires.
Lori was not feeling well, so I went out for the afternoon and evening looking for wildlife. I saw quitea bit and stopped take pictures of black bears and bighorn sheep.
There were two beautiful Bighorn Sheep rams at Rainy lake. I spent a long time with them as they grazed, shooting way too many pictures. It was very enjoyable.
