Lori and I took our annual spring trip to Yellowstone. We had wonderful weather and truly enjoyed the trip. We saw a lot of wildlife, but most of it was at distances too far for meaningful photography.
The wildlife variety and behavior was great to watch.
As we made our way toward the Lamar Valley, we stopped at the Yellowstone Picnic area for a very windy lunch. As we were setting up lunch, a few bighorn sheep approached and settled in under a shaded tree about 75 yards away. We enjoyed watching them while we ate lunch and I snapped a few pictures.
