Lori and I took our annual fall trip to Yellowstone. We camped out for a week of wet, snowy, cold weather. The wildlife was pretty sparse, but what we saw was magnificent.
One of my goals was to shoot the elk rut with snow in the scene and especially with a bull elk with snow on him. We had snow Thursday night, so I headed out early Firday morning and found the normal heard east of the seven mile bridge on the Madison. The elk and scenery were magnificent and I thoroughly enjoyed taking these pictures.
We both enjoyed the trip, though both of us occasionally wished for warmer weather!
