Lori and I took a wonderful trip to the south rim of the Grand Canyon. It was quite cold with highs in the 50s most days and lows in the 20s. It was also very windy with 10 to 30 MPH sustained winds. We camped and had a great time.
I was able to take the wheelchair along the rim trail. Lori was able to hike the South Kaibab trail (our favorite). The day she hiked the South Kaibab trail I spent in the wheelchair experiencing and photographing the canyon from the rim. After I picked her up from her hike, we returned to the rim for some sunset shots.
Between Pima Point and Monument Creek, I stopped and took a few pictures. I found a wonderful patch of Indian Paintbrush (which Lori had pointed out the previous day).
