Lori and I took a week-long spring trip to Yellowstone for wildlife watching, geyser gazing, and relaxation. We camped out, as usual, but at Bridge Bay this time. The weather was cold and damp, with snow earlier in the week and rain later. We chased what little sunshine we could find, and managed to see quite a variety of wildlife. It was a great trip.
We came across this sow and 2 cubs from last year. I believe this is the same sow that had 4 cubs last year, so something bad must have happened to the other 2 cubs. The cubs were quite rambunctious and entertaining. The sky was overcast and I had to shoot somewhat into the sun, which was disappointing.
