Lori and I took a spring trip to Yellowston and the Tetons. We then drove to the west coast and visited Steve and Sarah in Shelton, Washington and Jean and Honani in Oregon.

We had a great trip and saw some wonderful geyser activity. There was unusual behavior on Geyser Hill and North Goggles became very active. While watching eruption after eruption of North Goggles, we saw Aurum do its first eruption since it went dormant 2 years ago. It erupted multipe times over a several week period, as often as every several hours to every several days. We saw two new fetaures develop, UNNG-GHG-17A and Snowglobe. We also saw UNNG-GHG-17 become active after 5 years of dormancy.

For this trip, I brought along my Nikon D700 and mounted an old 35mm non AI lens (converted to AI). I enjoyed using that to capture the landscape shots in a different way from past years.
