We took a fall trip to Yellowstone again this year. My sister Fran joined me for the first week and Lori was able to join me for the second week. The trip had variable, but generally warm weather. The elk were largely absent, but we did see a few distant bulls with harems. Other wildlife was pretty abundant, but as is often the case in Yellowstone, they were pretty distant.

We drove out to Fountain Flats and found this wonderfully cooperative trumpeter swan in the Firehole River. We reuturned on several other occasions to photograph it.
