Lori and I took a summer trip to Yellowstone along with my sisters Fran and Ginger. We had wonderful weather and a it was a really great trip. We saw many thermal features and had a few wonderful wildlife encounters.



Fran, Ginger, and I went wildlife watching one evening and found the alpha female of the Wapiti Lakes pack in the meadow near the Nez Perce picnic area in the Hayden Valley. We watched her howl at two black wolves on a hill in the background for about 20 minutes. It was a wonderful experience.
