Lori and I took our annual spring trip to Yellowstone. We had wonderful weather and truly enjoyed the trip. We saw a lot of wildlife, but most of it was at distances too far for meaningful photography.

The wildlife variety and behavior was great to watch.

At the end of the day, as we were making our way back through the Lamar Valley, we came across a herd of buffalo cows and calves in beautiful light. Unfortunately, I had to shoot mostly into the light. It was a wonderful sight and Lori really enjoyed seeing the baby buffalo.
