Lori and I took our annual spring trip to Yellowstone. We had wonderful weather and truly enjoyed the trip. We saw a lot of wildlife, but most of it was at distances too far for meaningful photography.

The wildlife variety and behavior was great to watch.

We drove north to the end of Hayden Valley and spottend a great blue heron in beautiful evening light. I stopped to take a few pictures. Unfortunately, as a car passed, the passengers yelled at it, which caused it to flee;(

I then diverted my attention to some american wigeons that were nearby.
